- Entries must be original and not have been previously published online or in-print
- Any submission containing plagiarized content, in whole or in part, will be disqualified
- Any submission created in whole or in part with AI or similar tools will be disqualified

- Must reside within Canada or the USA
- Must be posted within the challenge duration (Sept 1 to Oct 31)

Meet our Writing Mentor
Florencia Davidzon is a writer and filmmaker with MFAs in Creative Writing from NYU, and Film from Maine Media. She has also received the Sylvia Molloy Fellowship and the Tink Foundation Grant. Author of the novel, The Stubbornness of Ashes, Florencia also writes essays, short stories, and scripts. Her fiction has been published in international magazines and anthologies. Her second novel, The Whisper of Dust, is forthcoming.
